Give an introduction of the poetry:
1804, published in 2 volumes in 1807,
There was a time when meadow, grove, and stream,
The earth, and every common sight,
To me did seem
Apparelled in celestial light,
The glory and the freshness of a dream.
It is not now as it hath been of yore;—
Turn wheresoe'er I may,
By night or day,
The things which I have seen I now can see no more. (lines 1–9)
Mention of meadow, grove, steam, earth
Surrounding and aspect of nature in second stanza
To me alone there came a thought of grief:
A timely utterance gave that thought relief,
And I again am strong:
The cataracts blow their trumpets from the steep;
No more shall grief of mine the season wrong; (lines 22–26)
Stanza VIII mention nature
beginning of the pem starts with mourning the loss of youthness and soothing the same with his connection with the nature.
Mention of “meadow, grove, and stream” and how this creates a sense of spirituality
